Company 8 vs. Company 7

Company 8, led by Shinra Kusakabe, quickly establishes itself as a force to be reckoned with. Their unique approach focuses on utilizing Adolla Burst, a phenomenon allowing individuals to ignite their bodies in flames. This ability grants them incredible speed and power, making them particularly effective against the Infernal creatures. However, Company 8’s methods often clash with the more traditional tactics employed by Company 7, led by Jōgo Hiughas.

Differing Philosophies

Jōgo’s company embodies a more pragmatic and somewhat ruthless approach. They prioritize efficiency and power, often disregarding collateral damage in their pursuit of eliminating Infernal threats. This philosophy stems from Jōgo's own beliefs about the Infernal phenomenon, viewing it as a necessary consequence of human sinfulness. His objective isn’t simply extinguishing flames but punishing those who embody destructive tendencies. This stark contrast creates tension and conflict between the two companies, forcing Shinra to question his own ideals.
